The air has cooled and the darkness is falling earlier and earlier here which can only mean one thing. The days of summer are behind us and autumn has arrived. I love this time of year as the leaves change colour and fall to the ground gently, creating a blanket of crunchy goodness for little ones to jump in. Simple pleasures are truly wonderful.
Which is why this party from Apples & Jam is one that I adore – the beautiful colours of autumn, from the bunting made from fallen leaves to the food, combine with crafty fun as the kids make their own bug catchers. It’s natural and beautiful and it would be such a treat for a little one to celebrate in this style.
Don’t have a little one having a birthday this season? Me neither but I’d use any excuse to throw a party like this.

GORGEOUS! We don’t really get Autumn here… We have wet & humid and dry & windy. In other news, HOW did it get to be April 3 already?! x
