This summer, tiny & little has partnered again with Meetoo and the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) to bring a fun children’s workshop to the NGV Kids Summer Festival – Kitten Kaboodle, a couture cats workshop that’s great fun. Fur-real!
Inspired by the Andy Warhol | Ai WeiWei exhibition and Studio Cats, the creative space for kids presented as part of the exhibition which celebrates Warhol and WeiWei’s love of cats, currently open at the NGV, we’re embracing the kitten theme in a creative paper workshop!
Join Kate from Meetoo and I as we create unique paper kitten characters with fabulous couture outfits, inspired by the 1980s Japanese Namennayo cats trend. For extra play fun, kittens can be transformed into finger puppets.
Thursday, January 21 to Monday, January 25, 2016
10.00am – 3.00pm
180 St Kilda Road, Melbourne
It will be pawsome fun and we hope you can join us!
You’ll also be able to follow along and see the fun creations, along with some ideas for how you can play at home, by following @tinyandlittle on Instagram and checking out the hashtag #ngvkittenkaboodle.
